It’s another North Shore winter
I look outside and see the snow fly
I think it’s making me just a little bitter
A pain that stings when the frost bites
This place gives me no answers
Just a feeling that’s bitter and cold
In a landscape forsaken and barren
A loneliness colder than snow
Colder than snow
I look up and the cold black sky
My throat is cut by the crisp, sharp air
I’m looking for a moon to calm my anxious mind
But the sky is naked, dark, and bare
This place gives me no answers
Just a feeling that’s bitter and cold
In a landscape forsaken and barren
A loneliness colder than snow
Colder than snow
This winter that lies before me
Is no different than the ones I’ve seen before
It seems like distance space and time are all that matter
So this is just winter on the North Shore
This place gives me no answers
Just a feeling that’s bitter and cold
In a landscape forsaken and barren
A loneliness colder than snow
Colder than snow
